Safety Guidelines

Last updated: September 20, 2026

Celebrity Status is built for live entertainment, and keeping our community safe is part of that. These guidelines explain how to protect your account, your money and yourself while you stream, watch, sing and meet people on the platform. They apply to everyone — fans, creators and staff.

1. Adults only

Celebrity Status is strictly for people aged 18 and over. Accounts belonging to minors are removed as soon as we become aware of them. If you believe a member is under 18, report the account immediately — reports about minors are treated as the highest priority.

2. Protect your account

  • Use a strong, unique password and never reuse it on another site.
  • Never share your login details. Staff will never ask you for your password.
  • Be sceptical of any message asking you to sign in through a link.
  • Sign out on shared or public devices, and review your account details if anything looks unusual.

3. Meeting people safely

Members can connect through live rooms, messages and dating. When you move from chatting to meeting in person, take the same precautions you would anywhere online:

  • Video chat first so you know who you are talking to.
  • Meet in a public place, in daylight, and tell a friend where you are going and when.
  • Arrange your own transport so you can leave whenever you want.
  • Never share your home address, workplace, financial details or government ID.
  • Report anyone who pressures you to move off-platform or to send money.

4. Payments, Krush and scams

  • Krush are virtual credits with no cash redemption value. Fans cannot withdraw or cash them out.
  • Nobody legitimate will ever ask you to send Krush, gift cards or crypto to “verify” or “unlock” an account.
  • Buying or selling accounts, Krush or gifts outside the platform is prohibited and is not protected by us.
  • Payments are processed by our payment provider on a secure checkout. We never ask for your full card number in chat.
  • If someone offers you money or a prize to send a payment first, it is a scam. Report it.

5. Streaming and content safety

  • Do not broadcast or post content that is prohibited under our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Only broadcast music, video or other media you are authorised to use.
  • Do not share another person’s private information, photos or messages without their consent.
  • Moderate your room: hosts are responsible for what happens in their own broadcasts.

6. Harassment and abuse

Threats, hate speech, sexual harassment, doxxing and targeted abuse are not tolerated. Use the report option on any profile, post, stream or message and our moderation team will review it. Depending on severity we may remove content, restrict the account or terminate it permanently.

7. Crisis and emergencies

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Our team is not an emergency service and cannot dispatch help. Content that promotes or depicts self-harm is removed and may be reported to the authorities.

8. Reporting, enforcement and appeals

Every report is reviewed by a person, and repeat violations lead to escalating penalties up to permanent removal. The full process, including response targets and how to appeal a decision, is set out in our Reporting & Takedown Policy and our Terms of Service. To appeal or ask a question, reach us through the Contact page.
